I was pretty excited about getting this roasting Thermometer. When It came I just had to check it out. After reading the instructions, I started checking it out. The first thing you have to do is place the battery (which is included) into the back of the thermometer. There is a four inch wire that you will need to locate. Once you have located the wire connect it to your phone or tablet. It does work with almost every device. After you connect the wire, an app will download to your phone. This app will allow you to keep up with the temperature of the food you are preparing.
For the food that is cooking, take the probe which is connected to a braid wire and stick it in the food. After you have done that connect it to the base. The wire is around five foot long so you can place the base on top of the stove or on a counter next to the stove. The app will tell you what the current temperature of the food cooking is and about how long it will take to cook. It does have different settings of temperatures for 16 meats. I found this very helpful. I would recommend this as it does work very well and is very helpful while preparing meals. I received this product in exchange for writing an honest review.
